Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
The short version: Rowdy Rounds doesn't set any cookies. No tracking, no advertising, and nothing that needs a consent banner - so there isn't one.
1. Cookies we set
None. The site is a set of static pages and files; it has no login, no session, and no server-side code that could need a cookie. Your browser may still send cookies belonging to other sites in the course of normal browsing, but Rowdy Rounds neither sets nor reads them.
2. Local storage (not a cookie, but similar in spirit)
Separately from cookies, Rowdy Rounds uses your browser's local storage to remember an in-progress round, which tutorials you've dismissed, and that you confirmed you're of legal drinking age. This data is stored per-browser, never transmitted to anyone, and is covered in more detail in the Privacy Notice.
3. Offline caching (service worker)
If your browser supports it, Rowdy Rounds registers a service worker - a small background script that caches the app's pages and static files so it keeps working with a spotty or absent connection. This is a caching mechanism, not a tracking one: it stores copies of the site's own files, not information about you. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data, or by uninstalling the app if you've installed it.
4. Third-party cookies
Rowdy Rounds doesn't embed any ads, analytics, or social widgets, so we don't set or read any third-party cookies. The one external resource the site loads - fonts from Google Fonts - is a font file, not a cookie; see the Privacy Notice for what that request does share with Google.
5. Managing site data
You can clear local storage and any cached files at any time through your browser's settings (usually under "Privacy" or "Site settings," by clearing data for this site). Doing so is safe - you'll just lose any in-progress round and your tutorial preferences.
6. Changes
If Rowdy Rounds ever adds analytics, advertising, or any other non-essential cookie, this policy will be updated first, and a consent banner would be added at that point.
